Gauge Orientation Explanation
Due to slight differences in thread tolerances, the gauge may not face forward when fully tightened.
To solve this, the Tee is designed with:
O-rings
Sealing rings
These allow secure installation without over-tightening, making it possible to adjust the gauge angle after installation.
Pressure Gauge 0‑Mark Alignment
If the 0‑mark on the pressure gauge is not properly aligned (tilted or not facing you):
Loosen the pressure gauge connection on the Tee slightly.
Rotate the gauge until the 0‑mark is properly oriented and appears level to the user.
Perform a blind basket test to confirm proper sealing and ensure there is no leakage.
If minor leakage appears, apply PTFE (Teflon) tape to the threads and repeat the blind basket test.
Tip: Once the 0‑mark is correctly aligned and no leakage is observed, the gauge is properly installed. No further tightening is necessary beyond this adjustment.
