Why can’t I connect my EM to the BOOKOO App?


If your EM cannot connect to the BOOKOO App via Bluetooth, try the steps below to identify and resolve the issue.

 

Update Firmware to the Latest Version

Outdated firmware may prevent the EM from connecting properly.

  • Download and open the BOOKOO N App to update the firmware to the latest version.

  • After updating:

    • Turn off auto-connection

    • Disconnect the current Bluetooth connection

    • Manually reconnect the EM in the BOOKOO N App

 

Confirm Bluetooth Permissions and Privacy Settings

  • Check that the BOOKOO N APP has proper Bluetooth access in your phone’s system settings.

  • Make sure the Privacy Policy pop-up in the app is accepted.

  • If using an Android device, ensure Location Services are enabled for Bluetooth functionality.

 

Charge the EM Fully

  • If your EM cannot be detected, ensure it has sufficient battery.

  • Fully charge the device (approximately 1 hour) before attempting to reconnect.

 

Disconnect Previous Bluetooth Connections

  • If your EM was previously connected to another device, disconnect it first before trying a new connection.
