While the Themis Ultra Scale is designed for stable and precise weighing, certain usage scenarios may interfere with its sensors or touch controls. To ensure accurate measurements and proper operation, the following setups are not recommended.
Magnetic Cups
Magnetic cups can interfere with the scale’s weighing sensors, which may result in unstable or inaccurate readings.
For this reason, magnetic cups are not recommended when using the Ultra Scale.
Metal or Induction Cooktop Surfaces
The Ultra Scale uses capacitive touch buttons, which are sensitive to conductive environments.
When the scale is placed on metal surfaces—such as induction cooktops or large metal countertops—the conductive surface can create unintended capacitive coupling. This may cause false triggering of touch buttons, even without direct contact.
To avoid this issue, we recommend placing the scale on a non-metallic, insulated surface during use.
