Back Panel Considerations
The front surface of the scale is fully waterproof, making it suitable for normal coffee brewing environments.
The back panel, however, is not designed for the same level of water resistance. Occasional splashes—such as water dripping into a drain tray and rebounding—may reach the back of the scale.
Avoid Steam and Excess Moisture
Even though the front surface is waterproof, it does not protect against high-temperature steam.
Avoid placing the scale directly above or near espresso machine steam outlets, as prolonged steam exposure may affect internal components.
Cleaning & Daily Care Tips
The scale surface is waterproof, but avoid direct contact with liquids and extreme temperatures. Do not rinse, soak, or spray water directly onto the scale, and avoid exposure to steam or hot water.
Use the scale within a safe temperature range (0–40°C) to ensure proper operation and longevity.
Keep the back panel as dry as possible and allow the scale to air out if it comes into contact with moisture.
Following these maintenance practices will help ensure accurate measurements and reliable performance over time.
